The Institute of Culture of Kardamylla founded the Progressive Group of Kardamylla in 1979 aiming at the development of the cultural and intellectual level of village.
Its work consists mainly in the organization of different public activities such as speeches, homage, reports, dances, children’s activities and any subject related with problems of the village.

Today, it also houses a library, a photography school, traditional dances and a folklore group whose collection is exhibited.
